Kerto-Ripa Long-Span Panels
The Kerto-Ripa panel is a structural engineered wood made up of glued Kerto components(LVL), exclusively for ground and intermediate floors. Kerto-Ripa can be used in both insulated and non-insulated construction, allows complete dry installation without the use of on-site concrete. AEC Prefab manufactures the structures MetsäWood building system, which is pre-qualified via the European Technical Approval (ETA) arrangement.
Benefits of Contractors on Using Kerto-Ripa Panels Engineered By AECP
-
- Panels are custom-designed and fabricated by local suppliers, integrated into BIM.
- Fast installation up to 1000m2 weather protection/per day.
- Reduce the requirement for protective covering on the construction site.
- Consistent quality in a shorter time frame.
- Long-lasting and environmentally friendly.
Roofing Solutions
Kerto-Ripa panels are an ideal solution for flat or low pitch roofs, customisable to the thermal requirements of clients.

Flooring Solutions
Metsä Wood Kerto-Ripa floor parts are made from Finnish Kerto, which are structurally customisable according to the design standards. These components are more durable, light-weight and robust, requiring fewer load-bearing columns, beams, and structural connections for longer spans. The acoustic properties of Kerto–Ripa floor elements are studied in both finished and controlled test conditions. It should support the European Technical Assessment (ETA) and CE Marking. It should have resistance to fire class REI30 or REI60.

-
- Panels are custom-designed and fabricated by local suppliers, integrated into BIM.
- Soundproofing and fire resistance in dry structures.
- Simple connections with long spans.
- Preserves storey height.
The top panels are plasterboards; eliminate the on-site installation as the attachment process takes place at the factory. These Kerto-Ripa elements connect to load-bearing structures through top panels. It is installed on the top of a load-bearing wall or beam that reduces the structural height, thereby total cost decrease. The next-floor wall is built on top of the top-panel elements.
